Volunteer Opportunities at PCAP, International House
“Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world,” the great leader Nelson Mandela once said. Our charity, the Policy Centre for African Peoples, was founded in the UK in 2008 to promote social engagement through education and leadership development.
To fulfil this mission, we carry out training, educational, professional and leadership development projects.
Our charity is seeking people to work on a voluntary basis on our training project aimed at supporting aspiring young entrepreneurs in the London Borough of Lambeth.

Ideally, we are looking for volunteers who are passionate about helping young people to become agents of positive change through business success, entrepreneurial innovation and social engagement. Good communication and interpersonal skills will be highly appreciated because, in addition to assisting with the mentoring and training sessions, the volunteers will help us reach out to young people in Lambeth and partners throughout London.

We are very flexible in terms of time commitment. The volunteers may choose to work and come to our office at International House only when their schedule and other commitments allow them to do so.
We reimburse London travel expenses against receipts and provide refreshments.
DBS checks are not required for these volunteer positions. However, the volunteers will be required to adhere to our young people’s protection policy.
